难忘的六月

今年的六月八日过得很不一样。每年的这天，我和老公就会打算去哪里庆祝他的生日。今年却不一样，我们在待产中。我们预料这一天我们的宝宝会出世。。也是这一天，我觉得我自己患上产前忧郁症。。不搞笑！真的。我好辛苦，为什么明明医生就说会出世的啊，为什么一点动静都没有？我走路辛苦，心里一直想要孩子出世。。自然压力也就多了。。心里作用，一直以为自己肚子痛，要进医院，身边的人都跟你说，怎么了啊，还见到你的，你还没有生啊？你几时才生？他妈的！我几时生关你啥事？真的很讨厌！我的压力真的很重。。晚上见到老公的时候，我已泪满眶。。真的很难过！老公安慰，心里好点。。也睡了！

六月九日，我妹妹生日。。宝宝不懂今天会不会出世？家人都在期待，何况是我？不要问我怕吗？因为身体上和身心里的压力已经胜于害怕。不骗你！你只是想 get rid of the stupid stomach!! 懂吗？跟平时一样，怎么了啊，还见到你的，你还没有生啊？你几时才生？很鸡的人又问。。午餐后，觉得腰有点累，白带好像比平时多。。工作上也交代得七七八八，回家吧！就将，我请了半天假，回家去了。。

回到家，跟妈眯讲，我今天感觉好像要生了。。妈眯：心里作用！哇。。伤心死了，做么没有人可以感受到我的辛苦和难过？算了！反正她比较有经验。。整个下午就陪我妹妹打麻将。。晚上见到老公，又是哭诉的时候。。老公我很辛苦，我觉得我开始讨厌我肚子里的宝宝，我觉得她让我很不好受！当时的谈话结论是：没有关系，我们等下回到家冲了凉，如果真的不舒服，我们就去医院，检查，检查。。如果真的还不能生，那我们就当兜风。okie ^^ 这个总算是今天最好的答案。

冲了凉又真的舒服很多，没有难过的感觉。。我们还和宝宝玩闪卡，每听到声音，她就会很兴奋地踢。。大概十点，老公说走吧，我们去医院兜风。。我突然又好像不想去了，想下。反正只是检查，如果不是也不就是兜风而已嘛！收拾好东西，我们就出发了。。去医院！

六月九日的晚上十点半，我们走进医院。护士问什么事？
我好像要生了。
那你有肚子痛吗？没有。
有来红吗？没有。
有破水吗？没有。
那你有什么迹象？我战战兢兢的回答，我白带比平时多了一点点，心里觉得要生了。。
护士犹豫要不要打给我的医生时，她继续说那我们先检查才打给你的医生吧！

护士把轮椅推向我，叫我坐，她推。我有点不好意思，毕竟我也担心我还没到时间生孩子。搭了电梯到一楼，有个年纪较大的护士在等着我。

我躺在床上。护士说
如果开了一两cm，你就回家待产。三cm以上你才可以留院，宝宝才可以出世。
哦。

出乎意料，护士说已经开了四了。她问我你没肚子痛吗？我说我没有，我只是觉得浑身不自然罢了。。护士立刻叫老公去登记。

护士把药放进我的屁股里叫我去便便。。然后还替我换了件衣服。我还一点害怕都没有。。我想可能我没有肚子痛所以还不知死。。很兴奋的走进产房。躺了下去，护士也替我打了支针，叫我睡觉，吩咐我如果肚子开始疼就把扭按下。。我打了支针后，老公说我妈米来了，他陪她们去吃点东西，我睡觉。。

时间不懂过了多久，我开始肚子痛了！！按钮！按钮！护士进来替我检查，不懂用什么东西塞进我的子宫。。痛死我！然后讲开了八cm了，可是还不可以把宝宝给推出来，叫我忍！！过了不久，护士好象又拿样东西放进我的子宫里，穿破水袋，水袋一窜，我的下半身都湿透了。。我咪咪糊糊还看到老公站在我旁边。。不晓得他的表情如何？害怕？紧张？我只知道我很痛了！！！

护士给了我一个氧气罩，叫什么android将的东西，说如果痛就拿来吸。。可以止痛。。

wonderful start of 2011

It's a wonderful 2011!!! It's always full with laughter and cheering from friends and family...

This 2011 chinese new year is fabulous..we had our reunion dinner in our new house..a proper one thou..the next day morning, we went for family trip..going to Belum forest at the boundary between Perak and Thailand...surrounded only by nature with only forests, lake, animals and wonderful resort..of course with the mahjong with us..haha...this is the most relax chinese new year i ever had..N bring back Bb's gift from dear..^^

I know this year will be meaningful and excited year..we have more journey..from Belum resort forest to Bedong in Thailand then to UK farm coming next 2 weeks time, Krabi trip in October..and more happening trips..

My Bb is going to meet us in June, my best friend just got her awesome boyfriend..congratz..then, i have another two more close close friends getting married by this year..and nevertheless, my hubby's buddy has decided to get married..and the pretty bride is my buddy...oh...thats too many happy moment going on...no wonder people always said 24 yrs old to 35 yrs old is the most excited life...now i know...coz im too enjoying thr happiness brought by everyone around me.

wow...so fast, it comes to the end of 2010...3 more days, we are going to say good bye!

I started the year with a wedding proposal and now ended it with myself pregnant...i think this should be a good year..a year full with happiness...

I think this year i have been moving a lot...from my old house at Bukit Kinrara to a bigger house at Tempua..my working office has moved from Taipan usj, a shabby office to a great new office at ss15..but i resigned after few months in the new office...fortunate enough i got a new job at a new office too...in Taman Desa...everything new new new...no wonder im happy in this year cause keep on having brand new stuff...N a New Hubby too...haha.....

Just ended my christmas with whole bunch of buddies celebrating in my house..having turkey, spaghetti, sandwiches, nuggets, french fries, smash potatoes and colourful jellies...wow...end up im having 2 days medical leave at home...

Hopefully, 2011 will be a better year for everybody!

oh..its been a while this blog has been abandon.....its been busy...busy for wedding preparation, busy for the actual wedding, busy for honeymoon, busy for new job and now busy because im pregnant!

Unbelievable...it's doesn't look like me thou...i just cant believe that im pregnant....I recalled the day when i notice that i have the symptom of pregnancy...It was few days later i came back from honeymoon, my friend requested me to send her to clinic as she is not feeling well...

Well, who knows that after sending her, i return to my home...i start to feel uncomfortable...i was blaming mt friend because of sending her to see doctor and now im sick...hahaha...hilarious! The next day morning, i feel dizzy and with no appetites..i dont remember what drive me to purchase the pregnancy test...but i remember i have make a big courage to test for it....

The moment when i saw the test was positive, i almost fainted...i cry and cant believe that it happen so swiftly...i tell my hubby..and he question me back, why should i feel upset and cry as we were married..what's wrong if im pregnant....

Yes, there is nothing wrong..but the thing is that it happen too sudden...i cant believe that im the person who dont like kids will get pregnant so soon..i thought getting pregnant is not easy..how come its suddenly become so simple and easy??

The immediate afternoon, my hubby and i went to the nearest clinic to double confirm on my pregnancy..well, the doctor said congratulation, you are pregnant..but are you thinking of keeping the baby? I was surprise...is out there a lot of people would like to abort their baby? I dont like kids...but i do not know how to answer this because i have no right to abort her but i at the same time, i have not accept this.....

Few days passed...and i start to think, rethink, and calming myself down and keep on telling myself this is a good news not the bad one...and im becoming mother soon...and this is a fact...

And now, i accepted it. Im pregnant and im going to deliver the baby next year and i have to take good care of myself... I cant deny that every of my family member they are happy with this new little member..my sister even bought her a shirt...my god..the shirt is so small....

Every morning, wake up with dizzy mind..drinking the healties drink and having the balance diet..thanks to my hubby...if not because im pregnant..i would not know he actually knows how to do most of the housework....im the queen now...he does most of the thing..and i just sleep and eat...sleep and eat..only at this moment, i know...my hubby knows how to do most of the housework...thank god...

This kind of life have to carry out for 9 months..9 months!!!! tiring..........

1. no booking for the restaurant / fine dining for your wedding dinner
2. no booking for catering
3. no pre wedding photo shooting
4. no wedding card invitation can be made
5. no buying for wedding stuff
6. no flowers and decoration can be made
7. no videographer, no photographer
8. no manicure, pedicure, spa, and dadada...
9. no nice bedsheet, bed spread and furniture
10. no refurbishment for your room or house

n basically, NOTHING can be done without money...

Who are your big FAN in your wedding planning?
1. father mother and sister
2. friends

FRIENDS are important throughout this process...becoz they look pretty excited for the wedding and some seems like she is getting married rather than you...so, they are playing important ROLE...

of course MY HUSBAND...

1. The time when we take pre wedding photos!!!

有個男人已經超厭煩他每天都要去公司上班，但他老婆卻可以成天待在家裡於是，他向上帝禱告說:「親愛的主，我每天上班投入八個鐘頭的時間，但我的老婆只待在家裡，閒閒没事做，我希望讓她知道我過的是怎麼樣的日子，所以請讓我們的身體交換! 」上帝以祂無比的智慧，成就了這個男人的願望，隔天，這男人一起床就成了個女人.他一起床，就開始為他的伴侶作早點，再三去叫醒那些賴床的孩子們，在回家路上，還要去洗衣店收送衣服，還要到銀行存錢，到菜市場買菜，然後回家把菜放一邊，還要仔細記帳.記完帳之後，他清了貓的砂盒，後來還替狗洗澡...然後時間已經下午一點鐘了，他趕快把棉被折好，洗衣服，擦地板…餵完貓狗，他衝到學校去接小孩，然後還得和那些越來越沒大沒小的孩子們一路上大小聲，回家之後，他幫孩子準備點心和牛奶，讓孩子乖乖地寫功課，然後他把燙馬擺好，一邊燙衣服一邊看肥皂劇重播，下午四點半，他開始削馬鈴薯，洗菜作沙拉烤肉餅，為晚餐做準備.晚餐後，那個死不要臉的老婆，剛下班一吃完飯，然坐在客廳看起足球賽來!他則忙著整理廚房洗碗，把收好的衣服摺好，哄小孩睡覺，晚上九點，他已經累壞了,但是又擔心白天的雜務還很多沒作完................. 不管了，他終於衝上床想休息了，但是這時那個閒得發慌的老婆, 竟然還興致勃勃提議要「嘿咻嘿咻」，他心不甘情不願，但還是努力裝得很愉快，設法不要抱怨，隔天他一起床, 立刻靠著床邊跪下來，流淚跟上帝說:「主啊! 我不知道我之前在想什麼，現在我知道我實在錯得離譜，竟錯到去妒嫉我老婆整天在家求求您，讓我們換回來吧! 」主以祂無比的智慧，回答他: 「孩子，我很高興知道你已學到了智慧，而且，我也很願意把你們兩人換回來，但....你還要等二百七十九天，因為...「昨天晚上, 你懷孕了!」

It has been such a long time that i did not hang out with my secondary buddy like this..having fun, making jokes..dadadada...

To my dear Aice, Chek Yin and Siek Ene,

We have known each other for almost 12 years..do you guys realise??? it is great to have you guys with me...remember those day we have fun in TP, singing together, making jokes, comforting each other ond of course gossiping other people..haha....dont forget that our diary is still with us..its our history..maybe one day we should trace back our history tho...

This wonderful moment come across my mind when we have badminton session yesterday night..when four of us playing in a court...haha...no change..everything remain the same...Aice still like to bully us..especially Siek Ene! Siek Ene is still the same kena buli by Aice..haha...
What is the difference now? Is that we have more members with us, we have Phang, CK and Allan...wondering when is the potential forth one will join us...

Friends last forever deep into everyone's heart..my dear friends, i hope that we can still hang around like this on and off...to make our diary thicker i think...hah...

Almost one year im back from Tasmania..sometimes, i do miss the place...being so peaceful.. and of course peaceful to my mind also...I remember the time when i was in Tasmania..so relax...my mind only have

"ASSIGNMENT " for weekdays
"SHOP N TOUR " for weekend

how i wish im still enjoying that kind of life...

Now, my life is too busy...

office work...office renovating...need to handle..saturday and sunday phone still ringing...blah..blah..blah..from contractor...

office work...client rushing this rushing that..none of the thing is non rushing..everything URGENT

office work...terrible...to authority..building plan submission, DO submission, BOMBA, JKA, KPB..dadadada...lot lot more...call to reception, fly to to department A, department A fly you to department B and so on....how CHALLENGING is the work...

office work... see client, see supplier, see contractor, see 3D artist, see model maker...and more more more ..never ending...

when i finish work, another headache comes...TRAFFIC JAM!! just don't understand how can the people not stress up after work still need to stuck in the jam for more than an hour whereby the journey from office to home is just 15 minutes drive away without traffic jam...

reach home should be the most comfortable one...but not yet...cause, baju waiting for you to wash..floor awaiting you to mop, dishes lining up for shower..and now i know, owning a house is not difficult but maintaining a home is the most difficult and challenging one...

early month..pay bill, electric bill, water bill, maintenance bill, telephone bill, internet bill, indah water, cukai pintu, cukai tanah, car park monthly ticket, insurance and more to settle...

how can it be not tired????im wonder..i just want to distress myself by shopping..buy whatever i like...good shop shop shop...then month end comes, walao..why my credit card debt so much?? i think i did not purchase this and that...

SO I STRESS AGAIN......sos...sos...sos...

CCM charity drive_ Penang

Phew...it has been a week after the charity drive...The event was not that great that i though of.. but i have enjoyed the trip very much with my dearest hubby, Aice and Chris, our awesome photographer! Because of him, we got lotz of nice photos and i believe all these nice photo can turn into an album...haha..

Throughout the journey, the moment that i have to put it down is the moment when we have our dinner at Ipoh, chicken rice shop..im afraid that i will forget the feeling when i saw this incident..so, i want to write it down to remind myself and my fellow friends...

Beggar can be every where, begging for money...pretend they are mute, blind..some slightly better, they come with tissue and sell it to you at a higher price.. and this old man that we saw, he is different.. he might need to beg because he need money, food for his family..i dont know..and i will never know...

The restaurant was full of customer, when the table of people almost finish eating, new arrival customer immediate stand beside awaiting the people at the table to leave...we are the same too..we waited, finally, this table of people stand up and leave the restaurant..there are so many left over food on the table..it's so wasteful...before the waiter comes and clean the table, this old man come with a walking stick and the other hand with a pack of rice, come to the table and put all the left over food into his pack of rice..

I'm stunt..i dont know what to do and what to say.. i feel that my brain is asking me to invite him to eat, but my mouth just cant be control..in a sudden i feel that there are so contrast going on in the head..ask him to eat with us? say thank you to the customer who left the old man plenty of food?

At the end, i'm doing nothing. No action was taken...and i tell myself..im so fortunate that i have food everyday..and i can have buffet whenever...and from now on...do not waste food!

Suppose there shall be no photograph shooting for the wedding gown fitting..but then i have this little naughty friend who is excellent in socialize help me to get a chance to fit on this fabulous gown..Thanks, my dear!

Here i am with this beautiful gown..hm..really miss this gown..unfortunately, they want me to pay for 1k if i want to do photo shooting with this gown..as if the gown is the main character in the wedding..haha...but never mind..now i have this photo for memory...

Thanks for all my fellow friends..thanks for being helpful...of course they seem like really happy to help me..as if they are getting married at the same time..i hope after my wedding, i have a chance to help my other friends to prepare a wedding...okie?? make it fast..please..im too excited to offer my hand...

wow..im so so tired..working in the office dy so tired..come back home, saturday, sunday still need to look for wedding venue, wedding photography..wedding preparation..planning ..da da da da..so many things to do..luckily darling always with me...but till now no firm decision made..dunno where to have our wedding dinner, what kind of wedding we wanted? whats the wedding theme..what kind of invitation card,where to take wedding photo...hell!!!nothing done and hard to confirm...the reason behind is WE HAVE NOT MARRIED BEFORE! i think if i get married the next time i shall easily organise...phew..i think is the time to call out my dear ji mui to give a hand...

tired....but feel really great! have to keep myself cheerful everyday..haha...

8 years back on this day, we started our relationship as a couple...thanks to all our friends being so caring about both of us...thank you so much...3 years back, we were engaged and registered as an legal husband and wife..this is stupid isnt it?everytime i recall this day, i will laugh at myself...we were too naive on that time..and today you did what you have promised..eventhou the propose is not the best but thank you, it is a successful one..and is awesome..darling..

I dont really know what's going on recently..feel happy and enjoy..but actually i got many things that i need to do and is rush too...Thursday night i was rushing for printing for the submission on Monday but still i feel enjoy doing it...eventhou i dunno exactly what am i suppose to do for the submission..and i never believe that i can do it by my own..and within these 2 weeks..i get ready documents for submission, complete submission drawings...oh my god..i can do it..i really can do it...

My parents house is almost ready to move in...unfortunately..and fortunately i think we cannot go further for interior design due to the budget constrain..my sister ngi ngi ngam ngam...haih..i suppose to feel upset and tired and dissapointted..but i did not...i think im getting more mature in handling problems..if 1 year ago..i think i will be very frustrated..angry and feel stress..but i did not cause i know budget problem can be solve..maybe it will take few months to clear the debt..i know we can do it coz we live as a family, we solve problem not i solve problem n not you the only one who solve problem...

Today i have a great lunch with my dear classmate...wonderful classmates...im really glad to have you guys...

and today! Im very happy..no reason...i want to be happy, every day..every minute..coz smiling chase away all the unhappy stuff.

the basic shape in urban planning

I remeber the day when i first visited melbourne...my friend told me, its easy to walk in Melbourne city..you will not get lost easily because the city is planned in a grid formation...

Even thou i know the grid system she mention...but i did not seriously look into the google map...until few weeks ago, my trip to Guangzhou...my father's friend who is local there told me that their city runs grid system together with circle, a ring...

this has suddenly make me remember the middle ring road in Malaysia...yes, we have the same concept, a ring that goes around our city...

My father's friend, Lim told me that in Guangzhou there are only 2 rings currently but the most ring in the country is in Beijing..they have 6 rings together...Amazing....in a sudden i feel that the basic shape is so interesting....it can be apply to our urban city and assist us to walk in the city easily...and especially it can avoid traffic jam too...is just that we might need to drive long er distance...

I think the ring is indicating the speed of the development or can be said the time taken for development, just like the xylem in the plants...it will develop more rings when it gets older...
all this ring is connected with different exit, in every quarter of the ring, it can form a town, perhaps with grid line planing..

religion place undergoes revolution...

Check out the photo below. I saw these pictures in the magazine...human living style changes rapidly and now even the religion place has undergoes revolution...the chapel we used to see has been totally change their image..no more colour glass for chapel and no more complicated ornament...no arches..no buttresses...The chapel of the apostles having a huge outdoor space for prayer..this has bring the nature and the people even closer...who cares sunny or rainy?

This temple is built in Singapore...I dislike the architecture...even thou the visual communication is there..meaning, we can still recognize it as a temple from far..but the feeling of 'wow' has lost...we always feel amaze on the ornament that the craftsmanship has done..but now all the ornament has been taken away and replace it by glass...

Perhaps is not because the craftsmanship has slowly gone disappear that lead to this modern material take place..and i still prefer to see good craftsmanship..

My intention on these writing is just to express my feeling towards architecture.nothing to do with what religion i am..

Uncivilized Driver

I started with my gloomy day in the early morning...perhaps the traffic jam yesterday made me frustrated and hate to drive..or maybe im just not feeling well recently..sometimes sunny in the morning and in a sudden it rains cat and dog...the weather is unpredictable..sigh...

I was so angry when i drove back yesterday..i hate the traffic light..there wasn't any jam when the traffic light is not working...after repairing this traffic light, it causes about 500m jam from mint hotel to serdang raya.. What make me even more angry was the driver who cut queue..as if they are the only one who are rushing back home...such stupid and selfish..everyone is rushing..everyone wants to get back home fast too...just because of all these selfish driver make everyone stuck in the jam..i wanted to call the traffic police, i wanted to get down from the car and scold them...but what can i do? nothing...helpless...

Towards Bukit Jalil traffic light there are one traffic light at the end of the slope...people rush for work, cutting queue and resulting the queue gets even longer...this morning something amazing happens...haha...this idiot driver get caught by the traffic police once she cut queue in front of me...i was so so so happy...i wanted to horn her when she cuts queue..but i did not because i know one day she will get caught and it happens immediately...i would like to shout at her and say U Deserve It!!!

One of my friend told me, she said if you drive politely in KL, you will not reach your destiny on time..i hope she is wrong.... if you get caught or any accident happens, it will definitely slow you down much more...

This is what i wanted to say, please dont drive like uncivilized human!

Being busy for my parents home renovation for the last two months..finally it almost come to the end..what is left is just the floor finishes, wall finishes and interior...and hopefully by end of this year we can move in...and now i got my job and have started to work..what is worrying me is the part I exam end of this year..i have to work to learn to know and to survive in this architorture route..

and now i just want to work, eat and sleep cause i know Cookie will never come back again...its been almost 3 weeks..we have no news on her...what we hope is just that to the one who has pick her please take care of her...we wish this little Cookie all the best...eventhou you cant move in to the new house with us...luckily we still have Curly with us..and sooner we will look for another Cookie again...

Cookie, the dog, reported missing on 19/09/09 at Fortune Park Apartment, Serdang. She runs away from the house without anyone notice. If you found her or saw her somewhere around kindly contact us. The easiest way to recognize her is from the tatoo on her body. She has a cyan and brown colour tatoo newly dyed on the back of her body. We have put up notices in all the pet shops around Serdang area, Cheras area and Sri Petaling.

Have you ever think or plan what kind of architecture route you are going to take? I never thought of this until yesterday I received an e mail from the company that i applied for a job as design architect.( i cant let you guys know which company is that because i have not pass the interview yet...)
This is strange...it is so common if the company ask for port folio but they requested me to write about my long term plan..this question bugging me for the whole night..thinking what kind of architecture route that im planning to take..i have too many things that i want to do but i have never plan it properly on a paper...this has totally given me a chance to think think and think...and also because of this question, i feel more interested to know more about this company..
So, what is my planning??

first look for job..this is definately..im broke! from the day i decided to continue my bachelor in UTAS, i know my passion towards architecture is still there..burning!I like design, deeply in love..i want the user feel it, just like the church by Tadao Ando and the Jewish museum..the building is expressing! Feel it...you know what i mean??

of course my dream to be an architect! I will never give up...i have promised myself, no matter how long it takes, i will become an architect..this is why i sit for the part I exam..wish me good luck..yes, no matter how long, even one day if i have become some one mother..crossed my heart!

My architecture trip started from Hong Kong to Tibet, to Australia..These trips are wonderful..i learn t, experience and appreciate all of them..and i love it..i know one day later i will have chance to go further...as long as i have money to go....save money is hard....

Where is the green?Is that the right thing to do? Cleaning up the forest to develope a new commercial area..

I seldom drive to this place..yesterday i drive past..this place near pasar borong, Seri Kembangan..n i saw this scene, i know i have to take this photo down, but i regret why i did not take a shot on this little hill last time when i drive through...few years later, this little green hill will turn into a hypermarket...and maybe more development...

i feel really sad on this development..is this the only thing that we can do to make a place developed? I remember my lecturer told me once, he said, Susanne, try to work together with the nature, not against them...orelse, they will take it back from you in the future...I know what he says is right..look into our Malaysian way of constructing..we clear the land, build whatever we want and finally replant some trees to the site...and usually the replant number is far more lesser...and all these cause numerous of environment issue..

What is important between the nature and development? is there any fair weighing between them?seeking for the answer...

It was Wednesday morning i submitted my documents to University of Malaya. In the same day i receive 2 important calls. 1 is from UTM Space!! This man called, hi Susanne, we saw your last application saying that you would like to join in SPACE programme, the part 1, are you still interested..?? Do you know what i feel at that moment?? I feel bit angry but much on proud..telling him..You know what, I have completed my part 1 in UTAS just because you rejected my application previously, telling me that..huh..we are so sorry, we cannot take you in Susanne because you are from private college... What can i say?? big big disappointment....??

Just half an hour later, another call..this call is a nightmare...UM called!! When i picked up the phone i was so happy thinking everything will be alright..because its just an afternoon, they returned call...but it was not a good news...according to them, I have to go to LAM and ask for part 1 recognition letter.I though it will be very easy.... so, i said ok, not a problem...

The next morning, i went to LAM, and met this young lady. Oh, you are the lady who called yesterday asking about part 1 recognition..im so sorry because i forgot to tell you that we cant give you a recognise letter because you have to sit for the part 1 exam and the registration date has been closed 1 week ago... What???? this lady went off and leave me for 5 minutes, she came back and tell me that she has informed her manager and her manager allows me to sit for this exam if i can submit all the necessary documents in 2 days time...if i miss this exam i have to wait till next year because the exam only held once a year...

In the same day, i looked for my ex lecturer, Mr See! Thank god he is available in the evening and willing to endorse the documents for me...Thank you very very much....I submitted all the documents within the time frame...

My friends said im always that lucky..hopefully this time too....never give up in architecture as long as you have the passion....never never give up..

I applied for a Master in Architecture in UM, thank you so much to my friend, Chelwin! She gave all the information to me, telling me where to go what to do...thank you very much, buddy! your helping hand is so much appreciated!

Now I have submitted whatever necessary..everything else has to depend on god!! Ask you pray more frequent..u ngi ngi ngam ngam....now sei lar...pray everyday..helpless..sigh...i think this is the reason why Brian, my friend pray so hard...even in Tassie..

I seriously hope that the application can be approve and i can continue my dream to be an architect..I want to be an architect!! no rush but still is a dream..A dream that i have been waited for 5 years..

This photo taken last Sunday..some where near Puchong..XXX apartment..Lets look at the rain water down pipe..What is happening to the architect or the contractor??is this made in purpose or just a lazy method to settle problem??

A proper rain water downpipe is necessary, especially in our country whereby rain falls very often..From my observation, i think the water is from the car park surface..Do you think it is a waste? If the water is collected properly, the water can be reprovide for the residents either for public washing, car washing or other stuff...

Anyway..maybe people think that this is an ART.....linear piping along the big drain...wonderful!!!

It's been a month i have came back from Tasmania.never rest a day in home..keep on working my parent's new house..None of my sister understand how difficult the work is..as if building up a house is just 5 working days..feeling upset and disappointed..

The site work is so much different from what i thought! Things never end up perfect..but fortune enough with the help of my dad and my darling, the progress is running fairly fast.. Targeting to move in end of this year..

I went to Winz this afternoon, the art shop i used to go last time..surprisingly, the shop is no longer in business,the owner of the shop passed away..everyone will be gone one day but just cant imagine that it happens so fast and so sudden..

Two months ago, i have made a trip to Sdyney, some of the places there are marvelous..one of them is the backpacker where i stayed..
The backpacker is basically a combination of two old buildings, located at king cross.

Let's have a look at the entrance..it is not the grand or the modern entrance that is inviting..is the colour and material combination makes the entrance feels more homely..

This is the corridor right after the backpackers entrance.with little rugs on the dark colour timber flooring makes the entire corridor looks so much fresher..especially the pendant light has definately enhance the entire corridor..

THe internet area is just right under the staircase...great idea of space usage..the backpackers registration desk is also similar to this..under the staircase..Love the idea so much..

The alley between two building is the laundry area. This alley fits so well for the laundry area, laundry area not necessary have to be a room with 4 sides of wall..as long as the machine is weather protected..I love the way the owner inject the function into a small area..no space wastage!!

To my surprise...our local council did good job!! they provide more job opportunities to their people...what job is tat???ten ten ten ten...which is putting up advertisement on the electric box, bus stop and taking off the advertisement...Is putting up these kind of advertisement part of art????

How long more to take for the people here to be more civilize?? Don't they know that putting up all these advertisement will damage the city appearance?? What have our council did?? Supply labour to clean up the advertisement?

When I travel in Queensland, I found out that they have pretag the electric box..it promotes the city well..letting the tourist know what is well known in these area, educating art as well as making good the city image...What if the council do the same thing? will it able to stop the illegal advertising??

Remember!! No one likes dirty...

furniture school in Launceston

I went to the school of furniture with Nick after our submission. I always want to visit the school but everytime end up lazy to go....finally, I step into the school..the students' works are amazing!!!
If i have the time to take up elective again i think i will take up furniture technology..so much fun...let's look at the students' work..

The first assignment was making a spoon..see how amazing it is..from a block of wood they carve out a spoon...

This student made out a box to keep the spoon...omg..he has a great patience to do it!!!

These two spoons very nice too..I hope i can make one as well...

If not mistaken, this box is the second assignment. My friend said it is a coffin for hamster..haha...

This is the last assignment..making a stool...a 1:1 scale...previously we made 1:5 scale in learning by making(LBM)..so jealous..

To my friend who are coming over to continue their study, i would really encourage you guys to take up this elective!!have some fun..

Good time in Launceston

I was pretending to draw but both of them are really drawing o..

We having so much fun after hand up our final assignment..especially doing something out of ordinary...

Nick and Aunjie addicted to go for outdoor painting after seeing my painting that day..We decided to draw more and for me, I said I will try to finish up my sketch book here..haha..seem impossible but still want to give it a try..

We did our painting behind our school..maybe i should ask them to scan their drawing and put it on my blog..hm...Let see the real photo and the painting....does they look alike??

Nick is always the slowest...we were thinking to produce 2 drawings that day, end up we only did one because we waited him...when he finished, it's already time for lunch!!! finally, we took bus to somewhere near Mowbray and have our Fish n Chips..wonderful meal! it was pretty cold that day but we enjoy eating outdoor..Claudia was complaining there are bugs bugging around her..haha.. After our meal...we took bus to somewhere we don't know..weird...we were thinking to hop on to any buses in Launceston and let the bus bring us tour around..There are always surprises!
We end our day in the group room in our school watching X men! Unfortunately, I have to leave early to pack my luggage because I am going to Sdyney that night and shall be back on Saturday!

This is life after submission, only when I'm done with my work, i can enjoy the life in Launceston..

It has been almost a week i have to sleep late..im too tired, exhausted...finally printed out my presentation board on Friday..as per schedule..i know the way i did my work is ridiculous..i don't like to follow 100% of the brief given!

Everyone saying that architecture route is tuff! you have to work till late night or maybe you can't slee for 3 nights..n bla bla bla...What is the point? Is this the life of an architect? I doubt..
How can you come out with a good design when your brain is drained?

I have been almost four year as an architcture student..tiring..but I still make sure that I have enough sleep..I hate doing stuff at last minute! Im enjoying my architecture life..touring around, looking for fabulous architecture in different country..taking nice photo, or sketching! I love the most...

The social issues create from Pruitt Igoe is absolutely obvious. Why is our government still look into this type of housing for the people? Will they be tear down one day? If yes, can we stop it before its too late because the children staying there are also future of the country, we need a better environment to develop them of course...If I would have to stay there i think i will get depression..a serious case i think..

autumn in Tasmania

the tree opposites my house starts to turn into brownish red in colour

my lecturer told me that there are no fluorescent
colour for tree.and look! there is in Tasmania..

It is autumn now..it's the time where the leaves return to where it belongs..approximately two more months to go into winter but the cold has started one month ago..but anyhow, launceston never been hot before from the day i came. I remember how i stand the cold in last winter..with three layer of clothing and a wind breaker..sound ridiculous...but it's true..

I start to miss my hometown, KL. where there is no four season, no winter..but i always complaint how hot it is..any thinking how good of i were born in a four season contry where i can experience the four season..and now finally i realise how fortune am i was born in tropic country...

I look into the mirror before i step out from my house..i look fatter after putting on so many clothing..then i ask myself did the pedestrian pathway wider here compare to KL? cause the body size is bigger in winter...people tends to bound to other easily..for public comfort, should the pathway designed wider? its seem like a tiny issue but it does make sense..especially after i did my HTD assignment whereby we have to look into the human behavior in urban..maybe i should put up more on this topic later..

I should have put this photo earlier....This is a really amazing place, Batam in Indonesia, we went there from Singapore by boat but we only manage to stay there for one night..hm..sad..we suppose to stay there for two night, the hotel admin put the wrong date when we booked..so, we only stay there for a night.. We miss this place so much and hopefully we will travel there again sooner..and to my friend, it is really worthwhile to visit cause the trip does not cost much..and really NICE scenery...

What is Home means to you? A shelter from sun and rain? A place where you found your sense of belonging? or....

HOME is not the same here and back in my hometown. The home here is just a house- a shelter for me. Back in hometown, the home is home where family is there, the sense of belonging is there. One of our friend said he has make here (Launceston) his home. He found his sense of belonging and feels more comfortable staying here.

A good CITY

I really enjoy the subject in this semester..It is about urban planning. We have Jan Gehl giving a talk at the very first week of the semester follow by the interesting class of HTD (History in Design), DS (Design Studio) and of course BTD (Building Technology). We talk about how to make a good city, What is the relationship between urban planning and people and lot lot more.

What makes a city a good city? Having fantastic iconic building lining up along the street? Or having various designs of skyscrapers giving the identity of the city? I started to question myself. If a city with all these fantastic building is a good city, how about those cities having their vernacular architecture rather than modern high rise building like in Bali and Tibet? Are they a good or a bad city?

Well, a good city is not determined by the building but the people in the city as what Jan Gehl said. If I have a choice to choose what kind of city I want to live in, I will say I want a city which is friendly to people.

First of all, I hope the city will have less traffic jam and pollution. According to Jan Gehl, to reduce the car traffic in the city, we can try to reduce the access road and increase the pedestrian road and cycling path. Yes, it is absolutely right but it cannot apply to tropical country because no one would like to cycle under the hot sun and sweating throughout the way to the working place. I think the Singapore government did a good job in handling this issue whereby they limit the car going into the city and supply a good public transport network for the people. I was told by a few friends from Singapore that it is not a problem for them to not own a car in Singapore because it is so convenient with the public transport.

The public space plays important role in a city. It is a meeting place, market place or a connection space. For instant Federation square at Melbourne, Dataran Merdeka in Malaysia and Lhasa in Tibet are some of the good example square I been to. These places are always a gathering place for people in daytime or night time.

People are the biggest attraction. We like to watch and to be watched, it is always two way contact. For example, people would always like to have a coffee at the Al Fresco rather than having a coffee in an enclosed café because we are always curious what is happening around us, we want to blend into the whole environment rather than our own world.

A city which can speak for himself is interesting and I think it is one of the criteria that a good city should have. What can you read from the photo of New York City and the photo of Tibet above? Which one speaks well for their people? I have never been to New York, but I been to other country that have similar city view too and it is not impress to me and I would not like to further question what is this city look like if I reach there one day later. At the other hand, when I saw the Tibet photo, I started to question myself why the building look like this and what is the representation behind this city? How is the culture and lifestyle there?

People will love their city if they have the sense of belonging with them and I think this is the main element that makes up a good city.

Isn't it lovely? Our breakfast...it was prepare by Me and Nick !! We were happy to complete our HTD assignment the night before..it was so tiring..really feel better in this semester compare to the last one..now at least Nick can accompany me to do assignment..previously was working alone... actually Im the one helping Nick..I doubt...coz he is damn LAZY! watch porn la..comic lar..haih..

Anyway...We decided to make a more lovely one for Aice and Phang when they come over..putting more fruits in..maybe having kiwi, strawberry, banana and more fruits for dressing...hm...sound great right?So...do both of you reconsider to come over earlier??

How many days more to go? 87 days! Its the day where Aice and Phang arrive at Melbourne..I'm too excited for their arrival....Me and Nick have not book the air ticket yet, all because of the Tiger airline..sucks! I will not travel with Tiger Airline again...We just cant get the cheap ticket..the payment is pending and the next day the price changes..wats the point if you dont allow us to pay for the ticket while you advertise it in the website???

I cant imagine the scene when i see them pushing their trolley out from th airport....happy? very happy? extremely happy? Obviously Nick is going to be CRAZY!!! and I know I have this 87 days more to knit the muffler..hopefully it turns out nicely..at least Phang will not feel nervous of the ugliness...

I'm fortune enough to meet a friend here Anjo! She is from Katmandu, Nepal. Hehe...and she teaches me knitting!

I wanted to learn knittting long time ago..but nothing inspire me to start knitting until one day morning I wake up and suddenly feel like learning it..and the next thing i did was went to the shop in the city and bought set of knitting kit..Funny thing was..there are too many sizes and design kit..hm..which is the one i need? I just grab one..and that's it..

Try to learn through website..maybe I'm a slow learner make me feel difficult to learn..and Anjo told me she knows how to knit..and there I start knitting from her...

See! its so ugly..haha..big hole small hole every where..even knit wrong pattern...haha..

And then..getting better now o... Hopefully can finish before June...It is getting easiler now to knit..Knitting is so much fun especially if you knit for someone you love...

Today is the second day in Launceston..Such a boring day..wake up in the morning, without having any breakfast, me n my fren went out to purchase phone starter kit..reach home in the afternoon, do some house cleaning and finally have our early dinner..nothing more to do..coz most of our fren not bck yet..probably we shouldn't come bck so early..

Haihz...i miss my family especially my auntie, my darling, my new house, my nieces Cookie and Curly, my fren there, my MINI and Caldina, my favourite food and many many more..

How many days more to get home? Why we need to study abroad? Why can't our local University accept us? Do they know how much we miss our HOME?

We went there on the 27 October. We have so much fun! Wonderful...Let's checkout!
We were waiting at the Aurora Stadium in front of our university. Bus arrived. Taking us approximately 3 hours drive to reach there if not mistaken...hm..
We have Alex and James lead us throughout the whole journey..We saw wombat on our way..so cute..sorry..i dun hav any photo of it.

We reach Dove lake before we start bush walking, nice lake! Then we have to queue up prepare to walk into the rain forest..it's not tat difficult to walk but is slippery..then we reach a small waterfall ceates from a lake..I dunno hoe t describe, just look at the photo your own!!

Then, we have lunc at Wombat pool! continue walking...walk walk walk...
I dunno how long we have been walking..it's difficult but exciting! None of us give up! everybody reach the peak finally!

I do though of giving up..because some steps are too high..after long time walking I felt difficult to lift up my leg again...Luckily..I did not! The scenery up there is so beautiful and I think is worth it!! REally!!

What is so special in this town? Hehehe...

This town is full with mural painting. The history of the town is express through all these mural. There is mural competition going on every year. Because of these mural painting, the town is like an outdoor gallery. amazing.. Unfortunately, the weather is cold...half way walking..freezing!!

Today is 8th of October!! ONe month from today is the day i will leave Launceston. Yes! So happy..finally I can go back to KL, to my family and friends...
However..the final submission is approaching..scary.....hopefully everything will goes smoothly and I can go home happily.. :p

Tasman Sea, Tasmania

Tasman sea is another place we went during our break..Is a sea between australia and New Zealand..nickname The Ditch, crossing the ditch means ging to New Zealand from Australia or vice versa.

Me and Cristy took bus down to Hobart in the morning. Coz going from Hobart is nearer compare to Launceston. We look for travel information counter at the city. One thing good here is that the travel info centre is well equip with all the information you need for travelling. We booked the ticket to Tasman sea there too..This trip cost us aud165! em....expensive???maybe..
After that, we have our lunch at Salamanca Market, the saturday market at Hobart..lots of
things they sell, lot of foods???

The next morning, we prepare ourselves!!we stay in backpackers hostel, they have their designate kitchen where anybody who stay in can cook themselve..see!!!You know this is the first time my bag full with snack!!! coz i scared i will get seasick...We use to stay in the hotel everytime v travel..u guys! lets try this out next time! is definately a different
experience for u..i know my sis sure dun like it coz everybody need to share bathroom and even share bedroom..rite?no doubt..this is the cheapest way to travel here!!I have to use to it if i want to travel more often or else..every time look for hotel, i will be bankrupt!!!

So, in our trip, we have 2 pairs of uncle auntie from London, then 1 auntie from Switzerland, 3 from China and both of us from Malaysia and Singapore! Total 10 of us. Isn't it a well blend of ppl? We gather at the info centre 8 morning. Then there is a mini van comes and pick us up to the port, which takes around 1.5 hour there! The place called Port Arthur.

Port Arthur is a place of prison last time during the British settlement..
The famous tour in Port Arthur is the ghost tour at night!!!scary..i dunwan to go anyway..some of my fren been there..

Next, we stopped by a cafe to have our morning tea, is included in the package. The breakfast is delicious..The cafe with the purple wall..looks cozy isn't it? THen the driver changed his mini van to big bus!see! coz he is picking up more ppl from other places while we havin our morning tea. So now..finally we are heading to the port!!!!! The boat is waiting!!

This boat is able to carry 42 ppl. During the whole trip, we see lots of weird rocks, island, water falls, blowholes and many many other..oh yah..the tallest cliff in southern hemisphere at Cape Pillar! some of these rock or cliff can goes to 8m dep to under the seabed..shock!!!u just dun drop into the sea..ORELSE u will never float up again..no kidding..!!

We see different flying species..Aibatrosses!!u know??It can fly very low almost to the surface of the sea..i dunno y she is not afraid of the sea wave coz the sea wave is so high..maybe tat day we travel was windy..Is deep blue sea here..really deep colour..the wave looks like jelly moving..dun try to put yr hand to it..u will not know wat is beneath it..we saw seal on the rock..is not in the zoo ok??Do u know all the seal here are male, the female will stay at Victoria..they can swim weeks n weeks without landing..good swimmer rite? Everything we see was so amazing and feel relief when the wind just blow on yr face..hm..nice! adventurous too ! coz the boat just bang bang the sea wave, all u need to do is hold tight to the boat, make sure yr body balance is there..for me, i definitely standing n capture more more photos..is the first experience and might be the last chance as well coz we will not go to Tasman sea again next time..and definitely no seasick for me!!hehe...i live healthy here..

One thing we really dun hav the luck to see was the migrating whales and dolphins..according to the captain, he said although he use to travel lot on sea, seeing whales is so difficult...once he saw shark hunting seal!!horrible..but no doubt this is nature..

My poor friend Cristy was so ill in the boat, she got sea sick n make her vomit throughout our whole trip on the sea,...poor thing..is my fault to ask her along...coz I suggested this trip!!hahaha...After our boat tour on Tasman sea, we went for lunch on top of the hill..look at the photo...nice cafeteria rite?
Lunch is included in the tour too..see my lunch meal..look nice? taste nice as well..haha..
I thought the rainbow I see when went to Mt Everest basecamp (the one cross between t2 mountain??) was the huge one..but...here i see even larger..the rainbow likes no boundary..hm..amazing..and i think it is the largest i see now, the rainbow out from the sea surface...BUT....the one i see at Mt Wellington (im went to Mt Wellington the next day after this Tasman sea tour) one even more amazing!the rainbow out from the forest..walao....during this few trips i always see rainbow!!

After our meal, we went to Remarkable cave..a cave that collapses and create a nice view to the sea..show u guys photo later la...no space anymore!
This remarkable cave tour is not suppose in our tour but the driver said is ok, just bring us there..haha...FOC!!yeh..so, now is aud165 expensive?? i dunno??

It is a good experience for me..n i feel so excited to share this with all of you..i was so enjoy, so happy when i was travelling with Cristy but i feel homesick too
when im not travelling..coz there is no place to hang out here when the school start..

The next one, i would like to share with you guys is Mt Wellington..it's snowing when we went up there. Tomorrow school starts and is spring now!!
What is awaiting me to discover is the Tulip farm on October! Wonderful!!!you want to come along??? I'm looking forward antartica trip as well...let's see is there any chance..

Mount Wellington, Hobart

Mt Wellington is the highest mountain in Hobart,at the bottom of this mountain there is a brewery factory. Usually will be snowing during winter...now is the beginning of spring..it is so lucky that when we went up the mountain there is snow...according to the tour guide, they called those harden snow, fish snow and those soft snow, they called it fresh snow..

There is another mountain for skiing in Launceston which is just 1 hour drive from my place here..but i miss out that coz when my fren went that time i was busy moving into my new house and i hav no time...I hav to wait till next year winter time...maybe can go with Delon!

The next morning after our Tasman sea tour , we went up to Mt Wellington, a name named after a Dutch..hm..if im not mistaken..

Hobart is the second oldest city in Australia, the oldest one is Sdynney which is 16 yrs
ahead! Wow..

So, the lunch was not very good for me. This restaurant called Little Italy. they serve spicy food..OMG...it is so hot!!!!!they have a degree of spicy..something likes Nando...here they serve from 0 - not hot at all to 10 - extremely hot..some ppl even challenge this shop by ordering
#15 hot..i think u will need to send to the hospital if u cant take it...so, i tried #2..i thought very mild only..cheh..nando peri peri almost same la...

waloao...i only eat 3 to 4 spoon..i stopped..then da bao..pai seh..Cristy ate #5 o...Singaporean can eat spicy than Malaysian..maybe i really cant take spicy food????

See...on top of mt wellington there is only a viewing deck and a block of toilet..tat's it...disappointing..i though it will be something like Hong Kong, the peak at least there is cafe, gallery and more...here got nothing..n the wind was so strong..i hardly walk..the wind blow me to the fence when im walking...i do not dare to walk close to the edge of the mountain although there is fence there..coz i scared i just fell down n bye bye.. u guys will never see me again...

In this trip there is only me and Cristy..nobody else, the trip still run..funny!!!??

This is me and my darling..wonder how we met last time??It already 7 years we been together and we know each other for almost 10 years! Can't believe it.. yet, we love each other so much! He was my neighbour once upon a time..haha..
I miss him so much..I'm going back to Malaysia soon..really miss the time we went out together! no worries..i'm coming back! When I'm back we will go for a ride, go for lok lok, go for sai mai lou, go for movie, go traveling without any early arrangement..just how we enjoy together last time!
I want to thank you so much being so caring all the time we been together...Thank you for everything you gave me, I love you.

Cataract Gorge, Launceston

This is the first place i went during my semester break which is week 7! This is a reserved forest called Cataract Gorge.
We went there by cycling o..long time no cycling, find it a bit clumsy when i cycle..Haha...feel like falling easily..hm...

Total 4 of us going,we have Xavier, Nick, Cristy from Singapore and me, of course! it is not a very interesting place,i mean nothing special to play with.. but the scenery is absolutely nice, different from Malaysia..Half way we cycle, we see wild ducks, ducking! oh my god..so cute..feel like hugging them..just like hugging Cookie! Hello..Cookie i miss u so much oh..
It takes us almost half an hour to reach there, is good weather, no rain!cold of course! We put our bicycle at the bus station and we walked up..is actually quite tiring..hehe..i think i will not want to go there another time..coz i think is boring..is just walking along the path..they said snakes come out at night..so watch out!!

Cristy and me felt we should explore more in Tasmania..so we decided to go to Tasman sea!! Hunt for whales! yeah..let's check out on my up coming blog!
